Over the years, we have successfully provided consulting and advisory services to a diverse and varying group of clients across all sectors.
We are not only wholly owned black company but also a majority black woman owned black enterprise.

We are thus consistently innovating within the BEE space to find exciting ways to fully comply with changing BEE Laws.
Our team consists of seasoned BEE professionals who have been tutoring maths and science to children in Soweto for the past 5 years. Our team have merged their technical BEE skills with their tutoring experience gained at the EduChange Research foundation.

Lifa Magwentshu

Lifa Magwentshu

Lifa Magwentshu is an entrepreneur with experience in business consultancy. He supports businesses with BEE strategies and implementation plans to navigate the complex arena of BEE compliance. He holds a Bcom degree in Finance and Economics from the University of the Witwatersrand. His career took shape when he joined Momentum Funds as a junior Fund Manager after which he ventured into business consultancy.

Exposure to complex economic challenges in South Africa led Lifa to pursue solutions towards addressing the rampant diesel theft in South Africa. In 2013 he established Desiman Technologies which specializes in technology that prevents diesel theft. In 2015 he formed a partnership with the accomplished Business Woman, Mrs Basetsana Kumalo to introduce another technological intervention geared at cable theft prevention. He is now a partner in the Efficiency Group. In addition to business activities, Lifa’s passion for youth development finds expression through his work as a volunteering Mentor. He is part of a community of professionals who provide academic and psychosocial support to high students in Soweto.
Basetsana Julia Kumalo

Basetsana Julia Kumalo

Basetsana Kumalo, affectionately known as Bassie, is a formidable South African businesswoman and philanthropist. She was born in Soweto and gained prominence as a beauty pageant queen. Her big dreams steered her towards business after she gained world prominence as the 1994 Miss South Africa winner and first runner-up in the 1994 Miss World pageant.

Armed with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of South Africa (majoring in Politics and Communications), a Diploma in Executive Education on Global Leadership from Harvard University, a Diploma in Marketing from Damelin and having participated in the “Leadership and Decision Making in the 21st Century” program at Yale University, she is a business force with the tools to back it up. She continues skilling herself as she is currently studying towards her Honours Degree in International Relations.
She has garnered success in broadcasting over the past two decades; as the Executive Chairperson of Tswelopele Productions, a television production company; as a co-founder of Connect TV, which produces 10 television shows for Multichoice/ Mnet/ Mzansi Magic; as Executive Chairman & CEO of Basetsana Woman Investment Holdings (Pty)Ltd; as a Director of Uzalile Investments: a woman-owned and listed coal mining company; as a Director at Travel with Flair: a Travel Management Company; and as the Chairperson of PHAB Property Holdings. She holds a Non-Executive Directorship at Tawana Resources, a diamond mining and she is the former President of the Business Women’s Association of South Africa.
Basetsana is esteemed enough to sit on various Boards, namely: Lovelife: Director and Vice Chairman of the organisation; The Nelson Mandela Institute for Education and Rural Development: Director; Unipalm Holdings: Director; and recently appointed as a Board Member of JAM. She is the spokesperson for the Pampers UNICEF Tetanus campaign and lends her personal brand as Brand Ambassador for numerous South African Corporates and blue chip companies.
Amongst her many accolades and honours, she lists being one of the Top Personal Brands, Sunday Times Top Brands Survey (2008) and in 2011 she was honoured as a Young Global Leader: World Economic Forum, an accolade that is bestowed upon you by Her Majesty, Queen Rania of Jordan.
